Foundation and Mission
Founded in 1981 by Giovanni Longaretti in Levate, Italy, PCF Elettronica has been operating as a family-owned company since its inception, aiming to provide integrated solutions for analysis systems in industrial processes. The company’s vision is built on producing customized solutions that go beyond standard analysis systems and respond to the specific needs of each customer.
Historical and Thematic Development
In 1988, PCF Elettronica entered the field of air quality monitoring and achieved a remarkable milestone by developing a hydrocarbon analyzer with a flame ionization detector (FID). In the early 1990s, the company expanded its activities, specializing in emission control and environmental monitoring. The year 2000 marked a turning point for PCF Elettronica with the production of portable emission analyzers. Afterwards, the company focused on developing automatic analyzers for monitoring substances classified as carcinogenic by the World Health Organization. Today, it provides energy efficiency and production optimization solutions for the chemical, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical industries.
Product & System Solutions
PCF Elettronica manufactures analytical instruments based on gas chromatographic technology for monitoring volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and other specific pollutants. Its wide product portfolio includes air quality analyzers, industrial emission monitors, process GC analyzers, and portable measuring instruments. It also offers detectors with FID, PID, and TCD technologies along with related accessories. All stages of production, from construction to calibration, are carried out in-house, and tailor-made systems are designed for customers.
Application Areas and Services
PCF Elettronica provides “turnkey” solutions not only for fixed installations but also for mobile laboratories, automated stations, and industrial stack systems. The development of integrated systems for mobile vehicles and in-cabin analyzers is also among the company’s areas of expertise. In addition, technical support, system diagnostics, and real-time interventions are made possible through remote access to customer systems.
